A lifelong Alabamian and a first-generation Yemeni-American, Auseel has always had a keen interest in culture and understanding how other people think. After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Psychology, he tested out his marketing chops at a boutique agency similar to Scout before moving on to freelance copywriting, SEO, and ghostwriting gigs.
The name “Aseel” translates to “pure,” “unique,” or “one-of-a-kind.” Because there is no Arabic letter combination equivalent of the English “au,” he is the only person to have this particular spelling/pronunciation of his name, making him a one-of-a-kind among the “one-of-a-kind.” In his free time, you can find him writing, talking to strangers, and bothering his two cats, Earl and Ginger.
