Even from a young age in her hometown of Huntsville, Alabama, Betsy has always excelled at art. In fact, in the first grade she won “best rocket patch” for space week and she definitely made the best ceramic Christmas angel in kindergarten. When she grew up a little, Betsy went to Auburn University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Graphic Design. There she met her husband, Cameron, and went on to receive an honorary architecture degree for being in his studio so much. Betsy then found her way to Birmingham where she enjoys designing for clients, illustrating funny little characters and creating her own fonts. The biggest things that keep Betsy designing are the drive to make people smile at her work, and when clients tell her to “make it weirder.”
When she’s not at work, you can find Betsy outside spending time at the lake, tending to her hydrangeas, or riding her bike to Steel City Pops. When she finds the time, Betsy also loves traveling to different parts of the world and backpacking around Alabama.
