Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Emily has lived most of her life in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from UAB School of Nursing and began working as a Registered Nurse at UAB Hospital in the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) and later in the trauma burn unit (TBICU). The net result of those experiences means that it is nearly impossible for her to be “grossed out.” Being married to Paul Crawford is further proof that she can persevere in any situation.
Emily has never met an organizational challenge or daunting task that she couldn’t sort out. In a room full of creative people, her extreme organizational skills come in handy. In her spare time, she tries to teach her two children to be organized and basically serves as their very own Uber driver. Emily and Paul love to explore all the new places to eat in Birmingham’s fast-growing food scene.
