Vintage 2298 is an upscale Southern cuisine restaurant in Auburn, Alabama. Founder and head chef, Randall Baldwin, asked Scout to create a brand as inviting as his kitchen.
Fine Dining with a Personal Touch
Inspired by the hand-written recipes Chef Randall keeps in his kitchen, the logo embodies Vintage 2298’s mission to blend fine dining and southern hospitality. A neutral color palette allows warm photography and their industrial architecture to shine.
Food & Photography Go Hand-in-Hand
Scout collaborated with photographer Cary Norton to capture the restaurant’s ambiance, and cuisine, bringing the story of Vintage 2298 to life. And because people eat with their eyes, photography is a main component on the Vintage 2298 website. The unconventional layout of their custom-built website hints at a luxurious yet understated dining experience.
